The Gary Project

Fundthe work.

Give, and you put the Word in a prisoner's hands, a testimony in front of a boy who needs it, and a roof over a man coming home with nowhere to go. This is what your gift becomes.

Other waysto give.

The largest gifts rarely move by card, and they should not have to. A gift of stock, a grant from your donor-advised fund, a wire, or a pledge over several years often gives more and costs you less in tax. We will walk any of it through with you personally.

Give stock, a DAF grant, or a wire.

Tell us which is right for you and we will send what you need, securely, and follow up by hand.

Appreciated stock

Often the most tax-efficient gift there is. Give the shares directly and skip the capital-gains tax. We'll send transfer instructions.

Donor-advised fund

Recommend a grant to us through your fund, using the legal name and EIN below.

Wire transfer

For a larger one-time gift. We'll send routing details securely.

Multi-year pledge

Structure a larger commitment over time, or through your estate.

What your gift does

I

The ministry inside

You put the study in the hands of men in Gary's chapel, and the discipleship at the backs of those getting ready to come home.

II

His testimony, carried out

You help send Gary's story past the razor wire, to the young men who still have time to choose another road.

III

The way home

You stand behind the faith-based homes that catch a changed man at the gate, so his second chance does not end where it began.

Make a gift.

A monthly gift is a promise, and it lets this ministry make promises of its own to the men who are counting on it. A gift of any kind, any size, goes straight to the work. Nothing here is wasted.

You will see what your gift did.

When you give, we will show you where it went. You will hear the names and see the lives your gift is changing. Gary's story spent years buried and forgotten, and we will never let your part in it go unseen.

Gary, in a letter to the project: "The story of a lifer is often forgotten and buried behind the razor wire."

Or standin prayer.

Giving is one way to stand with this work. Prayer is another, and it is where everything here began. Our prayer guide will walk you through it, for the men still inside and the ones coming home.
