The Gary Project is a 501(c)(3) public charity pursuing clemency for Gary Farrington and using his case to build the argument for Florida parole reform. Every dollar contributed goes to specific, nameable work — documentary production, advocacy, coalition-building, post-release infrastructure. No overhead skim. No wasted motion.
Gifts are allocated across six specific workstreams. Each named, each traceable, each with defined outputs.
Documentary production, content amplification, earned-media outreach — so Gary's case is unavoidable in Florida and nationally.
Research, case studies, political argument — the evidence base for earned-release legislation the state currently lacks.
Travel and relationship-building with the people in the rooms where clemency decisions get made.
Faith communities, reentry organizations, youth-mentorship ministries — building the coalition that carries the case forward.
If clemency is granted: housing, transportation, accountability, and startup capital for Gary's planned restorative-justice ministry, the future Josephine Jean Nuvolone Foundation.
Whatever the outcome for Gary, sustained advocacy for a review mechanism narrow enough to hear only those whose records, like his, prove they have changed.
Every contribution to The Gary Project is deductible to the extent permitted by law. The Gary Lee Farrington Jr. Foundation Inc. is a 501(c)(3) public charity in the State of Florida, EIN 33-4248520, granted tax-exempt status by the IRS effective April 15, 2025.
